What defines and distinguishes the masculine body? The choreographer asks about the attention paid to bodies and the qualities attributed to their movements. In this piece with a cast of only men, mounted on heels, appearing only from behind, Nadia Beugré directs five dancers from different cultures and choreographic currents to explore the notion of gender and the question of the spectator’s gaze.

Première May 2020 / Kunstenfestivaldesarts - Brussels (Belgium).
