Régis Badel is one of the ten performers in Maud Le Pladec’s Twenty-seven perspectives, which premiered in July 2018. Here he offers his solo to a musical creation by Pete Harden based on Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony.

Maud Le Pladec, choreographer and director of the CCNO, has created the pieces Professor, Poetry, Professor live in collaboration with the Ensemble Ictus, Ominous Funk, Democracy, and Concrete, to musical works by the collective “Bang on a can all stars”. Hunted (2015) launched a new cycle in relationship to text, which includes Je n’ai jamais eu envie de disparaître, a duet with the writer Pierre Ducrozet (2017) and Moto-Cross (2017). More recently, she created Borderline with director Guy Cassiers, and Twenty-seven perspectives for the 2018 Montpellier Danse Festival. In May 2020, she will present a new work commissioned by the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine: Static shot.


Régis Badel, born in 1994, began studying dance at the Lyon Conservatory, while also studying music. He obtained a licentiate diploma from the Paris Conservatory and concluded his education at the PARTS school in Brussels. Régis Badel currently works with Maud Le Pladec, Boris Charmatz, and David Wampach, and has also collaborated with Didier Silhol, Cindy Van Acker, Christiana Morganti, and David Zambrano as well as on several projects involving new technology.
