Festival Portraits fantômes

Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd, July, 2022

Performances in the homes of inhabitants of Orléans –

Argonne, Madeleine and Blossières quarters of Orléans

Since 2013, the choreographer Mickaël Phelippeau has been elaborating his “portraits fantômes”. In a single town, he spends 3 days and 3 nights living in 3 different dwellings, fantasizing the portrait of their inhabitants during their absence.
The final form of the project is a walk by the public across town passing through the 3 dwellings where the artist performs the said portraits. This took place a first time in 2017 in Orléans.

For this festival, five performers have been invited to take part in the “ghost portraits” process. The proposed public itinerary will cross Orléans from east to west or from north to south, discovering the fruits of these immersions.
