The workshop will explore movement and composition through analysis of a few works from the repertory of the CCN-Ballet de Lorraine as well as examining creative methods related to the aesthetic and cultural approaches of the choreographers. It will also focus on how a dancer, working in a repertory company such as this one, can be technically and artistically nourished by diverse encounters.

Joris Perez
began dancing at the ENMD in La Rochelle before joining the Junior Ballet of the CNSM in Lyon in 1997. The following year, he joined the Ballet du Rhin where he stayed for four years performing pieces by Balanchine, Maurice Béjart, Hans Van Manen, Bertrand d’At, William Forsythe and Lucinda Childs, among others.
